It's Still Friday, right?
It's not that I didn't know it was Love Our Lurkers Day. It's just that I've been busy. You see, we sold a house today. Yes, today. The money is in our escrow account, but because it's Friday and the world operates on East Coast time...
Well, Monday morning it will be our personal bank, anyway.
Aside from the fun of selling property in California in a down market, I gave Iris a fun, fun spanking last Saturday night. She wrote about it on her blog last night. Today is M's birthday (M of Iris & M). I am super-restricting my caffeine/sugar intake and have had headaches coming or going for 3 days now (even with Aleve).
Oh, and I got an awesome spanking last night from my Chris. Loud, but lovely. *happy wiggle*
This blog will be ... 3 years old in 12 days. I bet not many of you have been reading that long, eh?

Very good news about the house closing. So many around here are going into foreclosure, and I still think there is about 20% softeness left if you are in a master-planned community. The older neighborhoods may even have 10% downside left before we hit bottom...
Getting off caffeine/sugar DEFINITEYL gives you a headache. I'm a 'splenda' junkie and if I try to go off for even one day, it's nasty...

And Happy 3 Year Anniversary in 12 days ! I've only been reading for about 10 monhts now, on and off...
My excitement this week ? Uhmmmm, I had the painter stain the family room cabinets flanking the fireplace to match the maple floors...
And am getting an estimate on getting a new air-conditioning unit of 15 seer, since my existing ones are 10 seer, which isn't up to code anymore...

Congratulations all the way around! That's great news, especially about the house, and the spankings.
I'm delighted that you made some time for LOL. It certainly would have been understandable if you hadn't. Anyhow, 70 blogs are participating at last count and I think everyone has had a lot of fun meeting new people and exchanging digital spanko business cards.
So what have we been doing? I spent many hours today on LOL. I didn't recall it being so much work last year. Oh, well. It's definitely been worthwhile.
As for spankings, I believe tomorrow will be the magical day. At least I hope it will be!

Try allowing yourself only the caffeine in Excedrine - used properly it can break that headache so that you can go on to get off caffeine and sugar. It will help to break the caffeine withdrawel or rebound headache so that you can get off the caffeine entirely.
Hi Sparkle! Sorry I'm a bit late for an LOL Day posting... I've got a lot of catching up to do!
I had a busy week this week... I had a pretty bad cold at the beginning of it, so I've been feeling pretty worn out. I went to my class at school, as always, as well as ran all of the usual mundane errands. One good thing though... Yesterday I finished my training to be an adult literacy tutor! This is something that I've been wanted to do for years, and I am SO excited about it! I can hardly wait to be paired with a student!
Congratulations on selling the house. I've never sold a home, but I have bought one, so I know what a stressful process that can be. There are TONS of houses that have been foreclosed on in my area... so sad. Hubby and I are so lucky that we're able to afford our house.
