Back In the Closet
I'm on my annual hiatus from fun/free time until late June - and any that I can reasonably sneak in should really belong to Chris and the princess.
Every year I have mixed feelings about this time of year. I'm proud that I have the skills and ability to manage and oversee this large annual project. I know my work is appreciated and valued, even when I make mistakes. And yet, as a family we sacrifice normalcy and time together for a good 6 weeks. Of course, deciding that I can't do it anymore means I have to find a new job, and that would require significant changes to the "normal" that we all love too.
I love you all, I'll miss you and I'll be back.

sparkle, you should never feel that you owe us time that belongs to your family especially when work is taking up more time than usual that cuts into your family time. Enjoy your family, keep records of everything funny the princess does and post it when you get back. ;)
Was wondering where you were! Thanks for the update...be well, and come back when you can!
Keep on taking good care during this busy time. Miss you.

Wow! I really love the new look! It's so much easier to read! And I love purple! Great work. I'll bet you took a short break from your project while you let your subconscious figure out how to do whatever it was you were trying to solve.
Hope your project is going well.

LOVE the redecorating! You have the rearranging gene too! I hope things are going well for you and the family. I miss your great posts and look forward to your return!

LynLass, livingdd: Thanks! After some thinking I decided I would tire of the purple too quickly but I did think it was pretty. It's strange, but I missed my posts, too. Well, actually, I missed WRITING my posts, which is a little different.
Thanks for the comments about the re-decorating. I spent a few hours on it and really like the headers.
